Winter ’26 introduces out-of-the-box dashboards that break down credit usage by agent, feature, action, or data transform. This gives leaders a clearer view of where credits are going, beyond billing metrics, so they can spot cost drivers and optimize ROI. Available for Digital Wallet-enabled products, it’s a smarter way to align consumption with business value.
With Winter ’26, admins can quickly scan Salesforce for sensitive data like Social Security numbers or credit card details using out-of-the-box or custom patterns. Results display in a clear dashboard and can be exported for deeper analysis, helping teams meet compliance requirements more efficiently.
Salesforce is rolling out the next generation of its Lightning Design System with SLDS 2. This update gives organizations more flexibility to customize the UI, improves accessibility, and introduces features like dark mode and advanced branding. Admins can enable SLDS 2 through Themes and Branding, making it easier to modernize the Salesforce experience without heavy custom development.
Dark Mode in SLDS 2 makes Salesforce more accessible and comfortable to use, reducing eye strain and improving focus during long screen sessions. Admins can enable it in Themes & Branding, and users can toggle it from their profile menu. It maintains org branding while offering a modern, customizable experience.
Mobile
Winter ’26 makes it easier to access Salesforce on mobile by letting users log in with their email address instead of remembering org domains. From the Salesforce Mobile App, users can select from a list of available domains tied to their email, removing a common barrier to adoption and streamlining login for every role.
Winter ’26 reduces friction for mobile access by letting users log in with a QR code generated from an active desktop session. Instead of remembering domains or credentials, users can simply scan the code with their phone and enter the Salesforce Mobile App immediately. This streamlines adoption and removes one of the biggest barriers to mobile login.
Salesforce Flow

Winter ’26 enhances Einstein-powered Flow Generation with more accurate results from natural language prompts. Admins can simply describe the automation they need, and Einstein will draft a flow using custom or standard objects and fields. This speeds up build time, reduces troubleshooting, and helps both new and experienced admins get to value faster.
Flow builders can now work faster with improvements to resource selection in Winter ’26. Quick resources surface the most relevant items automatically, smarter filtering only shows valid options, and expanded search makes it easier to find deeply nested fields. These updates reduce clicks, speed up flow building, and cut down on common errors.
Winter ’26 makes it easier to see what’s changed between flow versions without digging through XML files. From the Automation app, admins can now compare versions side by side, view differences in labels, API names, and configurations, and quickly understand what was updated. This saves time and simplifies troubleshooting during flow maintenance.
Admins can now select multiple values for recipients in the Send Email action without extra configuration work. Instead of managing separate single and collection inputs, selections are bundled automatically into one list. This update makes it much easier to add CC and BCC recipients and improves overall productivity when building flows.
Winter ’26 introduces Action Hub, giving admins a single place to view and search all actions used across Salesforce. Instead of hunting through different areas of the platform, users can now see a consolidated list, navigate to details, and understand where actions are being consumed. This makes it easier to build, troubleshoot, and manage automation health.
Screen Flows
Winter ’26 adds paragraph styles to the Display Text component, making it easier to create a clear content hierarchy without relying on custom HTML. Admins can now apply headings or normal text directly in the editor, improving screen readability and ensuring accessibility compliance. This update helps teams deliver more structured, user-friendly experiences.
Winter ’26 improves image handling in Display Text components by allowing admins to add images from static resources instead of the Salesforce Files system. This makes uploads more reliable, ensures images remain accessible when flows move between orgs, and supports better alt text management for accessibility. The change is especially helpful for Experience Cloud sites where consistent image display is critical.
Winter ’26 adds a theme picker in Flow Builder so admins can preview screens with Lightning Experience or Experience Cloud branding applied. Instead of publishing flows just to confirm styling, you can now see exactly how themes will look in real time. This helps ensure your flows match the rest of your application and improves confidence in user experience.
Application Lifecycle Management
Winter ’26 improves the debugging experience for screen flows with a faster, in-builder process. Instead of opening a new window and sifting through text-heavy logs, admins now see a streamlined, card-based view directly in Flow Builder. This makes it easier to find the right information, test changes, and resolve issues quickly.
Salesforce has made debugging flows faster and easier with a redesigned setup panel. The new experience includes shortcuts to jump directly to affected elements, better formatting for collection data, and expandable panels that display more detail at once. Debug results are now shown alongside configuration, so admins can review both without switching views.
Persistent Logging gives admins detailed visibility into Flow execution at both the run and element level. By capturing execution data and surfacing it in Data Cloud dashboards, admins can quickly pinpoint which elements failed, analyze performance, and optimize critical flows. This makes it easier to troubleshoot, monitor success, and ensure reliability at scale.
Flow Approvals
Flow Activation Approval introduces a framework for reviewing and approving flows before they go live. Process owners can draft approvals in Flow Builder, submit them for activation, and have another user review changes. This improves governance by ensuring oversight while reducing admin bottlenecks when teams need updates quickly.
Service Cloud

Digital Engagement
Agentforce Connections now supports rich, interactive messaging instead of plain text, making conversations more engaging. Agents can send native scheduling components like Apple’s Time Selector or WhatsApp list selectors, while Rich Choices add secondary and tertiary subtitles for detailed options. This upgrade reduces agent workload, creates visually seamless customer experiences, and drives stronger engagement across digital touchpoints.
Messaging for InApp and Web
With legacy chat being phased out, Salesforce has added queue position visibility to MIAW channels. End users can now see their place in line while waiting for an agent to accept their chat, reducing abandonment and improving the overall experience. Admins simply enable this feature in channel settings to provide real-time transparency for customers.
Salesforce has expanded chat functionality to support audio and video files, giving agents richer context for resolving complex issues. Instead of relying solely on text, customers can now share recordings that demonstrate their problem directly in chat, helping agents diagnose and resolve faster. This enhancement improves efficiency, accuracy, and adoption of chat-based support.
Admins can now configure proactive chat invitations in MIAW, similar to Live Agent. Based on triggers like time on page or specific URLs, a chat bubble appears inviting users to connect with an agent. This closes a key parity gap with Live Agent, enabling businesses to engage visitors more effectively and reduce missed opportunities for support.
Admins can now configure chat buttons to only display when agents are available. This prevents users from starting chats that cannot be answered, reducing frustration and setting clearer expectations. The system checks availability and updates button visibility dynamically, bringing MIAW chat closer to Live Agent parity.
Service Rep Experience
General Enhancements
SLA setup is now simpler in Lightning with more flexibility. Admins can prioritize cases by milestone time left, pause milestones, and sort work by target start date. This makes SLA management faster and more efficient.
Field Service & Scheduler

Dispatchers can now use AI to automatically rebook customer appointments when disruptions occur. Instead of manually coordinating, a dispatcher can trigger “Rebook with Agentforce” to send a pre-configured SMS that validates eligibility and guides the customer through rescheduling. This saves time and boosts dispatcher productivity.
Mobile Worker Productivity
Field Service customers now have access to three out-of-the-box Data Capture templates to quickly get started. These pre-built flows (Create Leads & Opportunities, Job & Asset Completion Form, and Service Appointment Status Change) can be customized to fit business needs, helping improve mobile worker productivity and speed up time to value.
Field Service customers can now launch Data Capture forms from Quick Actions on Service Appointments, Work Orders, and Work Order Line Items, as well as deep link in and out of the Field Service App while passing data between apps like Field Maps. This improves mobile worker productivity and speeds up time to value by making it easier to capture and save critical data in Salesforce.
Technicians can now capture service data hands-free using voice commands in the Field Service Mobile App. This reduces data entry time, minimizes errors, and improves safety in “hands-busy” environments by allowing work orders, reports, and checklists to be completed entirely by voice. The result is higher productivity and greater technician satisfaction.
Marketing Cloud

Flow for Marketing
Marketers can now automatically test and select the best-performing journey path based on a chosen performance metric. By setting up an automated Path Experiment, the system evaluates results and, once it reaches 95% confidence, declares the winning path and routes future traffic there. This eliminates manual monitoring, speeds up optimization, and allows more experiments to be run at scale without added workload.
A new Flow Template for Automation Event Triggered Flows checks CRM for an existing person across Prospects, Leads, and Contacts before creating anything new. If a match is found, it updates the record; if not, it creates a Prospect and returns that record to the flow for downstream processing. This cleanly handles “unknown individual” events, prevents duplicates, and improves data quality and time to value.
Marketing on Core Setup
Existing Marketing Cloud Engagement customers can now transition into Marketing Cloud Advanced by purchasing the Plus SKU. Through guided setup, users can connect MC Engagement with Data Cloud and Marketing on Core, enabling unified reporting, advanced analytics, and Agentforce-led campaigns in next-gen Marketing Cloud.
Marketers can now reduce duplicate records and unify profiles with enhanced Out-of-the-Box Identity Resolution. Two new match criteria—Lead to Contact and Device to Known—join Normalized Email, ensuring smoother lead conversion and mapping of anonymous web activity. The result is richer, more accurate customer profiles with fewer duplicates and a single source of truth.
MoC in Sandboxes
Marketers and admins can now safely build and test campaigns in sandboxes before deploying to production. Campaign assets, including forms, landing pages, and flows, can be created and validated in a controlled environment, ensuring data captures correctly and automations function as expected. This reduces risk, protects production systems, and provides assurance that new marketing automations won’t disrupt existing workflows.
Marketing Cloud Engagement+
Marketing admins can now easily connect Data Cloud to Marketing Cloud Engagement, deploy starter bundles, and complete guided setup with minimal configuration. This enables faster onboarding to advanced capabilities like campaign performance tracking, cross-journey orchestration, and agentic next best journey decisioning—helping organizations quickly unlock the power of Marketing Cloud Engagement+.
Marketing Cloud Engagement customers can now link journeys to Campaigns for unified reporting across journeys and flows. Admins connect the MCE org to Data Cloud in setup, enabling marketers to manage orchestration and view detailed analytics directly within Campaign records. This provides a single view of marketing performance across efforts.
Marketers can now use Flow to orchestrate, prioritize, and send individuals into MCE Journeys in real time. With API Entry as the source, Flow provides a single canvas to connect Data Cloud data, trigger journey sends, and leverage advanced features like Agentforce. This tighter integration with Journey Builder enables marketers to streamline orchestration and unlock broader automation use cases.
Marketers can now send Marketing Cloud Engagement emails directly from Flow to activated Data Cloud segments, reducing latency and avoiding duplicate setup. Using the Send Engagement Email element, emails can be sent with existing content, sender profiles, and consent settings. This enables fast, segment-based campaigns like newsletters, product launches, and re-engagement efforts without recreating assets.
Marketers can now use the Journey Decisioning Agent to automatically select the best-fit journey for each customer and personalize content without custom code. The agent evaluates customer data, applies predefined goals, and routes individuals to the most relevant journey. This drives higher ROI through increased engagement and conversions while reducing manual decision-making and boosting marketer efficiency.
Reusable Content Blocks
Content managers can now create reusable, non-editable content blocks such as banners, footers, or terms to ensure compliance and speed up email production. Stored in a central workspace, these blocks streamline authoring, maintain consistency, and allow variation rules for personalization. This improves compliance and boosts productivity for content teams.
Email Usability Improvements
Email authors can now create emails faster with auto-generated titles and easier access to key fields like Title, Description, and API Name. Authors can also edit email titles directly from the record details page instead of opening Content Builder, streamlining the process and boosting productivity.
Campaign Creation Agent
Admins can now use the new Employee Agent Template to quickly deploy a fully configured campaign creation agent with one click. Once Salesforce Foundations is enabled, they can select the template in Agent Builder and launch a ready-to-use agent in under an hour, drastically reducing setup time and enabling faster adoption of AI-powered marketing capabilities.
Admins can now draft and save campaigns in Agentforce using flow-based, multi-step actions instead of single-message flows. This allows custom logic for assignments or notifications, enabling marketers to generate campaigns from briefs, create records, assign queues, and send Slack notifications automatically. The result is faster campaign launches with reduced manual effort.
Marketers can now access campaign performance data directly in their workflow using the Generate Campaign Insights action. With a simple prompt, Agentforce evaluates past campaign results and provides recommendations on what to adjust. The result is faster, data-driven decisions and more effective campaigns based on proven performance.
MC Advanced – Business Units
Admins can now create Business Units in Marketing Cloud Advanced to separate users, data, content, and audiences while still reporting at an enterprise level. This allows each division or team to operate independently, align content with the right audiences, and deliver consistent customer experiences. The result is greater control, accuracy, and performance across the enterprise.
Admins can now add Engagement History Dashboards to Account records, giving sales reps a unified view of marketing activity without switching systems. Reps can see signals like pricing page views before a call, helping them tailor conversations and prioritize high-intent accounts. The result is faster pipeline progression, stronger sales and marketing alignment, and more productive sales calls.
Users can now create, edit, and manage multiple scoring models in Salesforce Setup to segment customers by engagement likelihood. Marketing specialists can apply different models for small businesses, enterprise clients, or executives, tailoring criteria to each group. The result is more precise targeting that addresses diverse business needs and provides flexibility for specific industries or customer segments.
Updates to Address
Salesforce is deprecating the Flow User checkbox on the User record starting Winter ’26. To run flows, users must now be assigned the correct profile or permission set instead of relying on the old FlowSites org permission. This update increases security by ensuring only authorized users can run flows, giving admins more granular control.
Salesforce now requires users with accounts created on or before November 1, 2016 to have a verified email address in order to send emails. Unverified accounts will no longer be able to send emails until verification is complete. Admins should identify affected users, send verification links, and confirm addresses to ensure uninterrupted email sending.
Salesforce is ending temporary redirects for legacy host names, with automatic enforcement in Winter ’26 and permanent enforcement in Spring ’26. Admins must review and update references before redirects expire, since legacy redirections cannot be reenabled after enforcement. This ensures continuity across Lightning and Classic without disruption.
Agentforce
Learn how Agentforce is reshaping sales, service, and marketing in our Agentforce & AI deep dive →
Account teams can now use AI-powered research to consolidate company insights and reduce hours spent preparing account strategies. By enabling Einstein Generative AI and Data Cloud, teams can add Account Research to Account Plan pages, customize prompts, and automatically populate fields with industry, competitor, and performance data. This accelerates account planning, boosts seller productivity, and improves customer relationships.
Sellers can now use Agentforce Pipeline Management to automatically capture meeting details and generate post-meeting follow-up actions. By enabling Pipeline Management and creating an agent in Agent Builder with Conversation Insights, sellers receive AI-suggested emails, meeting requests, and tasks directly from transcripts. This ensures timely follow-ups, faster deal cycles, and improved seller productivity.
Agentforce now validates AI-generated responses in real time to ensure they are accurate and appropriate before going live. Companies using ASA bots for customer inquiries can automatically block incorrect or nonsensical responses without manual review. This ensures higher accuracy, greater efficiency, and stronger brand trust.
AI-driven, context-aware email responses using past interactions, account details, and customer preferences. Companies can deliver personalized, relevant emails without manual setup, ensuring seamless follow-ups that reduce additional inquiries. This results in greater efficiency, lighter agent workload, and higher customer satisfaction.
