Salesforce Flow
Flow and AI
Flow Generation V2 is now generally available, allowing admins to build complex Agentforce flows using natural language prompts. Instead of manually configuring record-triggered, scheduled, screen, or autolaunched flows step by step, admins can describe what they need and let Einstein generate a structured draft automatically. This significantly reduces build time, improves accuracy in early-stage design, and lowers the barrier to advanced automation. By accelerating flow development and iteration, organizations can deploy process automation faster while maintaining greater consistency and control.
This example highlights how Flow Generation V2 responds when given minimal direction. With a simple natural language prompt, Einstein generates a structured draft flow, allowing admins to quickly see how the system interprets their intent. While additional refinement may be needed, this approach provides a strong starting point that eliminates much of the manual setup typically required. By accelerating initial design and enabling rapid iteration, teams can move from idea to automation faster and reduce the time spent configuring complex logic from scratch.
This example demonstrates how Flow Generation V2 handles more detailed instructions while delivering a similar structured outcome. Even when admins provide specific field mappings, trigger conditions, and data transformation requirements, Einstein generates a usable draft that reflects the intended logic. This reduces the need to manually configure each element and helps ensure key requirements are captured from the start. By translating detailed business rules into a working flow more efficiently, teams can speed up automation delivery while maintaining greater accuracy and consistency across processes.
Conversational Flow Modification is now generally available, enabling admins to refine existing flows using natural language within Agentforce. Instead of manually editing elements, adding decision logic, or configuring fault paths step by step, admins can describe the changes they need and have them applied directly to the canvas. This streamlines updates to record-triggered, scheduled, and screen flows while reducing the risk of configuration errors. By simplifying ongoing flow management, organizations can iterate faster, maintain cleaner automation, and adapt processes more efficiently as business requirements evolve.
Builder Experience Enhancements
Flow Builder now introduces four new ways to scroll the canvas, making it easier to navigate large and complex flows. Builders can use trackpad gestures, a mouse wheel, arrow keys, or the scrollbar to move across the canvas with less clicking and dragging. This improves the day-to-day experience of working in Flow Builder, especially for admins managing extensive automation. By reducing friction in navigation, teams can build and troubleshoot flows more efficiently, saving time and maintaining focus on process design rather than interface limitations.
Flow Builder now supports collapsible branching elements, allowing admins to expand or hide sections of a flow to improve readability and focus. Builders can collapse elements such as Decisions, Loops, Waits, and other branching paths to reduce clutter and concentrate on the areas they are actively modifying. The collapsed or expanded state is saved at the browser level, making it easy to return to work without disrupting other users’ views. This enhancement creates a cleaner canvas experience, reduces visual noise, and helps teams work more efficiently within complex automation.
Subflow Input and Output Help Bubbles now display variable descriptions directly within the configuration experience. When a flow is used as a subflow element, any input or output variables with descriptions will surface that context in an info bubble beside the field label. This gives admins clearer guidance on what each variable represents and how it should be used, reducing guesswork during setup. By improving clarity around subflow configuration, teams can build more accurate integrations between flows and minimize errors caused by misunderstood inputs or outputs.
Screen Flows
Flow Builder now includes an enhanced Message component that allows admins to create more accessible and visually distinct alerts within screen flows. Unlike basic display text, the Message component supports standardized message types and improves accessibility for screen readers, making it easier to communicate errors, warnings, and confirmations clearly. Admins can add the component to a screen and configure the message type and content to align with the user experience they want to deliver. This update enables organizations to provide clearer guidance during data entry, reduce user confusion, and create more consistent, user-friendly interactions across forms and processes.
Salesforce now allows screen flows to run within the full Lightning Experience using a new URL parameter format. By updating existing buttons and links to use the /lightning/ path and the appropriate flow variable structure, organizations can take advantage of the Cosmos theme, local actions such as Show Toast and Open Record, and improved console behavior that opens flows in new Lightning tabs instead of separate windows. This enhancement delivers a more seamless user experience, aligns flows with modern Lightning capabilities, and ensures screen-based automation feels fully integrated within the Salesforce interface.
Salesforce now allows styling overrides for screen flow components, giving builders more control over the look and feel of their user experience. Admins can customize visual properties such as background color, text color, borders, radius, and weight directly within the Style panel for supported components. This makes it easier to align screen flows with brand standards or draw attention to key actions like submit buttons. By enabling more tailored design without custom development, organizations can create polished, on-brand screen experiences that feel intentional and cohesive within the broader user interface.
Application Lifestyle Management
Screen Flow Version Comparison is now generally available, giving teams a clear, side-by-side view of what changed between two versions of a screen flow. The comparison highlights differences across screens, elements, resources, connectors, and flow properties in a single, structured table view. Results can be shared via URL, making it easy for admins, release managers, and stakeholders to review the same report. This enhancement reduces deployment risk by making unintended changes easier to spot, streamlines QA and troubleshooting, and provides greater confidence when promoting updated flows to production.
Flow Persistent Logging is now generally available, providing end-to-end visibility into flow execution across nearly all flow types. Admins can capture both run-level and element-level execution data, enabling detailed monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis through reports and dashboards in Data Cloud. Setup is streamlined directly within Flow Builder, making it easy to activate logging without complex configuration. This enhancement allows teams to identify exactly where failures occur, analyze execution patterns at scale, and proactively optimize automation for improved reliability and performance.
Flow Logs in the Automation App provide a centralized hub for viewing and managing persistent flow logging. Admins can access a dedicated Flow Logs tab to enable logging, review which flows have logging configured, and monitor credit consumption guidance in one place. This eliminates the need to navigate multiple setup areas and offers clearer visibility into both usage and coverage. By centralizing observability controls, organizations can manage logging more strategically, improve governance, and streamline troubleshooting across their automation landscape.
Embedded Analytics now supports additional flow types, giving admins direct visibility into flow performance from within Flow Builder. By accessing the Analytics tab, teams can review run counts, average durations, and element-level performance data for active flows that have executed at least once. This allows architects and admins to identify bottlenecks, understand which paths are most frequently used, and evaluate how flows are performing in production without relying solely on external reports. By surfacing actionable insights directly on the canvas, organizations can optimize automation faster and reduce the time between identifying issues and improving flow design.
Salesforce now retains setup inputs during flow debugging, eliminating the need to re-enter values each time a flow is saved. When testing autolaunched, screen, or record-triggered flows with multiple input variables, previously entered debug values will persist across saves. This streamlines the troubleshooting process and reduces repetitive manual entry, especially for complex flows with numerous inputs. By removing friction from debugging, admins can iterate more quickly, test changes with greater consistency, and improve overall development efficiency.
Flow Orchestration and Approvals
Improved Orchestration Testing enhances the debugging experience by allowing admins to fully test interactive steps within an orchestration. When an orchestration reaches a screen-based step during debugging, it now pauses and enables the user to complete that interaction directly through the Work Guide tab on the canvas. This provides a more realistic end-to-end testing experience without leaving the debugger. By supporting interactive step validation in context, teams can more confidently test approvals, data capture, and user-driven actions before deploying orchestrations to production.
Improved Orchestration Testing now allows admins to select specific stages to debug and test, making it easier to isolate and validate targeted portions of large orchestrations. Instead of running the entire orchestration, users can right-click on a stage to define an optional Start Point and select one or more End Points. This enables focused testing of newly added or problematic steps without executing the full process. By narrowing the scope of debugging, teams can troubleshoot faster, validate changes with greater precision, and reduce the time required to stabilize complex approval and orchestration flows.
Improved Orchestration Testing now allows admins to override a stage’s inputs when debugging specific portions of an orchestration or approval process. When isolating a stage for testing, users can open the element, navigate to the Configure Test Input tab, and provide element-level override values to simulate or mock outputs from earlier steps without running the full orchestration. This added flexibility enables more precise scenario testing, helps validate approval logic and stage dependencies, and reduces the time required to confidently troubleshoot and deploy complex orchestration changes.
Intelligent Document Processing
MuleSoft for Flow: IDP enables admins and business users to extract structured data from documents such as contracts, IDs, and invoices directly within Salesforce Flow. Using the “Extract Data from Document” invocable action, Flow can call the IDP service, return key data fields as Flow variables, and use them to update records, trigger approvals, or drive additional automation. By eliminating manual data entry and external tools, organizations can improve accuracy, streamline document processing, and accelerate automation natively within Salesforce.
Scale Center
Scale Center is now generally available across all major Salesforce editions, expanding access to scale and performance insights for Enterprise, Performance, and Base Edition orgs. Admins can access Scale Center in Setup to monitor near real-time performance metrics, investigate execution errors, and explore scale insights across areas like Apex and integrations. By broadening availability, more organizations can proactively identify bottlenecks, improve implementation health, and optimize overall application performance.
Scale Center Database Insights provides on-demand visibility into the slowest SOQL queries in an org, along with actionable recommendations to improve database performance. By generating a Database Insights report from Scale Insights, admins can review recent runtime telemetry, identify resource-intensive queries, and access targeted optimization guidance. This enables teams to proactively tune queries, reduce system load, and improve overall database performance and scale health.
Scale Center Org Overview delivers weekly insights into overall org performance, highlighting peak hour load, key errors, and critical areas that impact scale health. From the Org Overview feature in Scale Center, admins can review summaries of peak hour activity, identify slow Apex classes and expensive SOQL queries, and access actionable recommendations to address performance bottlenecks. By providing a consolidated view of runtime trends and optimization guidance, organizations can proactively improve application performance, reduce peak hour risk, and maintain a healthier, more scalable org.
Sales Cloud
Sales Agent in Slack brings proactive, AI-powered deal intelligence directly into a seller’s workflow, eliminating the need to leave Slack to research accounts or prepare for meetings. Powered by Agentforce for Sales, the agent can generate account and lead briefs, summarize deal activity, create meeting prep, and suggest next-best actions using both CRM and external data. By delivering insights and recommended actions in context, Sales Agent helps accelerate deals, improve alignment, and increase overall sales velocity without disrupting the seller’s flow of work.
Account Management with Agentforce for Sales enables sellers to synthesize internal CRM and external data into clear, actionable account strategies directly within Lightning or Sales Workspace. Instead of spending hours researching and summarizing scattered information, reps can ask the Sales Agent to generate account briefs, strategic POVs, overviews, and meeting prep while receiving proactive insights and recommended next steps. By delivering contextual intelligence and supporting deeper research in one place, Account Management improves productivity, strengthens team alignment, and accelerates deal velocity.
Service Cloud
Enhanced Chat
Unrestricted File Types Support allows organizations to enable “Allow any file type as attachment” in channel settings so users can upload and share any file extension during chat sessions. This removes previous attachment restrictions, supports more technical or specialized file formats beyond the standard supported list, and addresses parity gaps for customers transitioning from Live Agent to Enhanced Chat. By eliminating file-type validation limits, teams can provide a more flexible support experience while meeting customer demands for broader file compatibility.
Chat Buttons Visibility Control introduces a channel-level setting that allows organizations to hide or display the chat button based on real-time agent availability. When enabled, the chat button remains hidden if no agents in the assigned queue are available, preventing users from initiating chats that cannot be accepted. Once agents become available, the button automatically becomes visible. This helps manage end-user expectations, reduces frustration from long wait times, and brings the synchronous chat experience closer to Live Agent parity.
Simplified Setup streamlines the messaging configuration experience to give admins a faster, clearer path to launch and iterate. Improvements include embedded service deployment list views tied directly to messaging channels, added guidance and change controls for ASA selection and channel configuration, and an updated Terms & Conditions UI. All settings are centralized under Messaging Settings, reducing fragmentation across multiple pages. The result is a more guided, efficient setup experience that minimizes back-and-forth and helps admins move from configuration to deployment with less friction.
Service Email
Real-Time Translations on Email enables service teams to communicate globally without expanding headcount. Instead of relying on third-party tools, translations are now embedded directly within the email conversation component, allowing reps to translate incoming and outgoing emails into their preferred language while composing or viewing messages in the email feed. This supports seamless collaboration across regions, such as a French-speaking rep assisting a German customer or an Italian rep translating case updates. The result is faster response times, improved productivity, and higher CSAT through clear, high-quality multilingual conversations.
Agentforce on Email Improvements enhances session continuity for case-related threads by maintaining the same agent session across all related emails for up to three days. Previously, each inbound email triggered a new session, causing AI to lose critical context such as verification status, case variables, and prior actions. With this update, Agentforce retains conversation history and key context across messages, enabling more seamless, accurate responses without repeated steps. The result is fewer interruptions, better-informed interactions, and improved overall customer satisfaction.
Service Rep Experience
Write with AI empowers service reps to refine, expand, or summarize their Enhanced Chat and Messaging responses directly within the conversation composer. Instead of switching to a third-party tool, reps can draft a message and use AI to rewrite it based on the full conversation context, improving clarity and tone while saving time. This feature requires Agentforce for Service and supports customers using Enhanced Chat or Messaging channels. The result is increased rep productivity, more polished responses, and improved customer satisfaction.
Real-Time Translations GA enables service teams to communicate across languages in Enhanced Chat and Messaging without adding global headcount. Translations are embedded directly within the conversation component, allowing reps to instantly translate incoming and outgoing messages into their preferred language. Instead of relying on third-party tools, teams can manage multilingual conversations seamlessly within Salesforce. This supports scenarios such as a Spanish-speaking rep assisting a Chinese-speaking customer, driving faster resolutions, improved productivity, and higher CSAT while scaling globally.
Field Service & Scheduler
Mobile App Setup in Go simplifies Field Service mobile configuration by centralizing and streamlining setup within Salesforce Go. Instead of navigating complex data relationships and manually configuring multiple settings, admins can define brand colors directly from a guided modal, leverage enhanced Data Capture pages to deploy pre-built flow templates more easily, and configure Geolocation Based Actions within Go. The result is a faster, more intuitive setup experience that improves admin productivity and accelerates time-to-value for Field Service mobile deployments.
Dispatch Console for Faster, Smarter Operations (Pilot) introduces a modern, Lightning Web Components–based experience designed to help dispatchers work more efficiently at scale. Built with performance, accessibility, and a streamlined interface in mind, the new console supports faster workflows and prepares teams for future AI-driven enhancements. By moving from a managed package to Core, organizations unlock broader industry expansion opportunities and improved long-term scalability, enabling dispatchers to manage higher volumes with greater speed and flexibility.
Data Capture – Voice to Form (GA) enables field technicians to complete service reports, inspections, and work orders using voice commands directly within the Field Service Mobile App. Instead of relying on manual data entry in hands-busy or hazardous environments, technicians can navigate forms and input values through voice, reducing workflow interruptions and minimizing errors. Admins can also enhance the experience by updating component descriptions to support domain-specific terminology. The result is improved safety, increased efficiency, and greater overall resource productivity in the field.
Data Capture – New Capabilities (GA) enhances offline data collection and mobile efficiency for field teams. New components such as Mobile Lookup enable offline search and selection of Salesforce records, while Multi-Image Preview displays related images in a responsive gallery with zoom support. Forms can now be launched directly from Quick Actions on Assets and Custom Objects, as well as from Timesheet and Labor Costs LWC pages, reducing clicks and streamlining workflows. With performance improvements delivering up to 80% faster form load times, especially for complex forms, these updates improve data integrity, accuracy, and overall mobile worker productivity.
Configurable Mobile Feed for Field Service gives admins control over whether the Feed tab is visible in the Field Service Mobile App. Previously enabled by default, the Feed could not be hidden, creating unnecessary clutter and background data usage for mobile workers who did not need Chatter access offline. Admins can now manage Feed and Feed Priming settings under Field Service Mobile Settings to tailor the experience based on role requirements. This results in improved performance, reduced data usage, and a cleaner, simplified mobile UI.
Native GIS (GA) brings ArcGIS, powered by Esri, directly into the Salesforce Field Service mobile app, giving field workers a unified experience for GIS mapping and work management. Instead of switching between separate applications, users can view geospatial data, interact with assets, and launch inspections all within a single interface, even in low or no connectivity environments. A low-code connector streamlines data transfer between systems, improving operational efficiency while maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
Pre-Work Brief Enhancements in Spring ’26 improve how field technicians create and consume job briefs by adding rich text support and more natural voice readout. The updated interface now includes a markdown-style editor with formatting tools such as headers, lists, and emphasis, enabling structured, well-formatted safety protocols and step-by-step instructions. Enhanced text-to-speech delivers more human-like intonation, accurate pronunciation of technical terms, and natural pacing, allowing technicians to listen hands-free while focusing on equipment setup and safety procedures, ultimately increasing mobile worker productivity and satisfaction.
Marketing Cloud
Flow for Marketing
Enhanced Recurring Scheduling for Segments expands flexibility in Segment Triggered Flows, allowing customers to run automations exactly when their business demands it. Admins can now configure schedules to run Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly directly within the flow’s Schedule settings. For example, a New Members Segment can be set to process hourly to support tighter engagement cadences and more timely outreach. The result is a significant expansion of scheduling options, giving teams greater control and precision over when their flows execute.
View Individual Flow Run gives marketers clear visibility into an individual’s path through a specific Flow version, including which elements were completed, what is still in progress, and where the person currently sits in the journey. From View Additional Analytics, users can select View Flow Run for Individual, choose a specific run, and see the flow canvas update with that individual’s path along with an element-by-element breakdown in the side panel. This makes troubleshooting simple. For example, when a contact receives or does not receive a message, teams can quickly trace their path to identify what happened and why. The result is greater confidence in personalization logic and faster resolution for support teams investigating customer questions or complaints.
View MCE Email on Campaign enables Marketing Cloud Engagement customers to continue using their personalized, branded email content directly within flow-driven marketing experiences from the campaign record. Customers who have connected their Sales or Service org to Data Cloud and enabled the marketing app can access this new flow element, making it easy to incorporate established Marketing Cloud Engagement emails alongside next generation messaging. For example, teams can add a Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email step within a marketing flow without recreating existing assets, allowing them to blend proven content with new automation strategies. The result is faster time to value and no need to rebuild emails that are already performing well.
Email Blackhole for Sandboxes allows teams to confidently test campaigns in Full and Partial Sandbox orgs without risking accidental sends to real customers or prospects. Because sandbox environments often contain copied production data, admins can enable Blackhole in sandbox only and configure an allow list of approved domains, such as internal employee email addresses, that can still receive messages. Any suppressed message is clearly marked with a send status of “not sent – blackhole,” ensuring visibility and accountability during testing. This gives marketing and sales teams the freedom to run UAT and training scenarios safely while protecting brand reputation and preventing unintended outreach.
Improved Visual Campaign Creation Agent
Campaign Previews in the Brief streamlines campaign creation by allowing marketers to draft, review, refine, and finalize campaigns without leaving the brief. Instead of generating a full campaign before reviewing assets, users can now view and adjust drafts directly within the Campaign Plan tab using the “Refine Campaign Preview” agent topic, including conversational previews. Admins can redeploy or update the Campaign Creation agent to enable these new actions. The result is a more seamless workflow that reduces context switching and keeps marketers focused while accelerating time to launch.
Create a Campaign from File allows marketers to turn existing strategic documents into structured briefs in seconds. Instead of manually re-entering content from PDFs or Word files, users can upload documents to Salesforce Files and reference them in an Agentforce prompt. The agent uses file grounding to parse the document, generate a brief, and link the source file to the new Brief record for traceability. For example, a marketer can upload a Q2 strategy document, prompt the agent to draft a brief from it, and automatically generate a structured campaign foundation grounded in approved messaging. The result is faster brief creation, reduced manual effort, and stronger strategic alignment.
MC Engagement+: Unify MCE Reporting Data
MC Engagement+ enables customers who already use Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud to unify their reporting data. Because next-gen Marketing reporting uses different metadata than MCE, users have been limited in viewing MCE reporting inside MCA. With Unify Data in Setup under Marketing Cloud Engagement, admins can run an asynchronous process to identify required updates, generate recommended fixes, deploy Data Layer Object mappings in Data Cloud, and reconcile historical and incoming data. Once complete, customers can view their existing MCE reporting within MCA, unlocking unified reporting across MCA and Agentforce-led campaigns.
Customizable Preference Pages
Brands need consistent control over voice and styling across every touchpoint. With Customizable Preference Pages, users can enable the feature in Setup and create or manage pages from the Consent tab in Marketing Cloud, or generate default pages during initial setup. Using Experience Builder and CMS components, teams can apply branding, manage subscriptions, and customize layouts with clicks instead of code—delivering a more seamless, on-brand end-user experience.
Scripting for Email
Customers need the flexibility to programmatically manipulate and format data within their emails so they can build highly dynamic, personalized messages. With scripting available in the email content builder (email only in 260), users can use Handlebars to control logic, access data, and render rich, dynamic content directly in their assets. For example, a team can create a universal footer that dynamically displays hundreds of variations based on audience or data inputs, making it scalable for large organizations. The result is improved content developer productivity and easier long-term asset maintenance.
Account Engagement Data Cloud Integration
Marketers need richer engagement data in Data Cloud to build more targeted segments and uncover deeper insights. By enabling the Account Engagement connector and creating a data stream for Form Handler engagement, teams can ingest prospect data from third-party forms, surveys, and quizzes directly into Data Cloud. This allows marketers to activate more complete engagement data for a true 360-degree customer view and more sophisticated campaign targeting.
Agentforce + Consumption
Organizations want to deploy autonomous AI agents in third-party mobile apps and the Salesforce Mobile App, with the ability to escalate to human agents or trigger employee workflows. With Agentforce, teams can build once and deploy anywhere using a lightweight SDK for third-party apps, while enabling Employee Agents directly in the Salesforce Mobile App. This allows users to access powerful, hands-free AI experiences on the go, reducing service costs and increasing productivity from anywhere.
Agentforce Voice is a conversational AI capability that enables your Agentforce service agents to speak naturally with customers, understand their requests in real time, and take action. It brings voice interactions directly into Agentforce, helping teams deliver faster, more human support experiences at scale.
Customers want deeper visibility into usage, with the ability to drill into granular consumption data, analyze by tags, and forecast future usage for planning. The Digital Wallet Consumption Analytics Dashboard, powered by Tableau Next, provides an automatically installed analytics experience in Digital Wallet. After installing the required data objects and dashboard assets from the Digital Wallet setup page, customers can access the “Consumption Analytics” page to explore usage trends. This enables them to understand how many credits each Agent and action is consuming, forecast future consumption, and turn detailed insights into smarter business planning decisions.
Customers need a simple way to track license usage and gain a holistic view of their active Salesforce products. The new License Utilization page, available in the Digital Wallet app via the App Launcher, provides real-time visibility into products purchased directly from Salesforce and provisioned to the customer’s org. Admins have access by default and can grant permissions to others through the “View License Utilization” user permission. With clear insight into products, included licenses, and current utilization, customers can better drive product adoption, optimize usage, and plan spending with confidence.
Customers want deeper insight into their Digital Wallet consumption by analyzing usage with their own custom tags. With Consumption Custom Tags, they can create and manage tags directly in Digital Wallet and generate reports based on business-specific metrics such as department, cost center, or project. This enables internal chargebacks, clearer visibility into which teams or cost centers are driving the most usage, and year-over-year consumption analysis. The result is more granular visibility, accurate allocation of usage, improved optimization, and better budgeting and forecasting across the organization.
Retirements
Salesforce to Salesforce, a legacy data-sharing feature, is being retired in phases. In Spring ’26, new enablement will no longer be allowed; in Summer ’26, support will end; and by Spring ’27, the feature will be fully retired and stop functioning in all orgs. Customers should migrate to alternatives such as Partner Cloud, Data Cloud One, MuleSoft Anypoint, or MuleSoft for Flow. After retirement, existing connections will no longer sync data.
Salesforce will retire legacy Chat products, including LiveAgent, Salesforce Chat, Embedded Chat, and Service Chat, on February 14, 2026. In Summer ’22, Salesforce introduced Messaging for In-App and Web, a new first-party chat product built on Hyperforce with enhanced features and support for asynchronous, persistent conversations. After February 14, 2026, legacy Chat will no longer be accessible. While no new features will be added leading up to retirement, critical trust updates will continue until the retirement date.
Salesforce will retire Standard Omni-Channel in Summer ’26, and customers must upgrade to Enhanced Omni-Channel by then. While existing Standard features are supported in the enhanced version, failure to upgrade means users will not be able to log in to Omni-Channel or receive work after the release. Customers can upgrade at any time by testing Enhanced Omni-Channel in a sandbox and then enabling it in production via Omni-Channel settings. If no action is taken by Summer ’26, eligible orgs may be auto-upgraded; otherwise, users will lose access to Omni-Channel and Omni Supervisor.
