A Solutions Architect is responsible for making sure the solutions we implement are architected, designed, and implemented the right way according to client needs and best practices. Our Solutions Architects work across all projects and assist the project team to make sure we implement solutions that scale and grow as the needs of our clients change. Solutions Architects oversee our implementations, development team, and quality assurance processes. They also get their hands dirty and help build out the solutions. Our Solutions Architects are extremely technical and love solving hard, challenging technical problems. They love learning new technologies and helping our other team members learn about how to do things the right way within the Salesforce and HubSpot platforms. A Solutions Architect works throughout the entire project lifecycle.

At FSM, AI is woven into how we deliver. Our Solutions Architects use AI every day to design and pressure-test solutions, accelerate builds, strengthen quality, and document complex systems. As the technical standard-bearers, Solutions Architects don’t just use AI tools; they help shape the AI strategy across the organization. AI doesn’t replace the deep technical expertise and sound judgment this role requires; it amplifies it, freeing our architects to focus on the hardest problems.

Example capabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Building complex software systems – ideally on the Salesforce and/or HubSpot platforms, using AI tools (primarily Claude) to accelerate configuration and development.
• Building software solutions using many different technology stacks.
• Designing and implementing complex databases.
• Designing solutions according to client needs and constraints, translating business requirements into scalable technical architecture.
• Designing and implementing web-based, multi-tenant software solutions.
• Implementing quality assurance processes, including using AI to review designs and code and catch issues earlier.
• Managing project teams including software developers.
• Architecting and designing software solutions – ideally on the Salesforce and/or HubSpot platforms, leveraging AI to accelerate and pressure-test architecture and design.
• Communicating with clients and project team members.
• Applying AI across the delivery lifecycle — solution design, build, code and design review, testing, and technical documentation.
• Identifying risks and issues so we prevent “fires” before they occur.
• Working with agile and other methodologies.
• Helping identify and implement process improvements so we improve our current processes and not repeat the same mistakes, including pioneering new and better ways to apply AI to how we architect and build, and helping the team adopt them.

Nice to have skillsets:

• Knowledge of Salesforce, HubSpot, and/or other technology platforms.
• Experience customizing other software systems – especially CRM software (SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Infusionsoft, etc.)
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as Claude) to design, build, or review software solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree level of education or similar experience.
• Industry certifications and other credentials.
