HubSpot Revenue Hub vs. PandaDoc vs. DealHub: Which Is Right for Your Business?

HubSpot Revenue Hub vs. PandaDoc vs. DealHub: Which Is Right for Your Business?

If you’re on HubSpot and evaluating your quoting options, three names come up most often: HubSpot Revenue Hub, PandaDoc, and DealHub. They’re frequently compared, frequently confused, and frequently bought without a clear understanding of what each one actually does well.

This post gives you a direct, honest comparison, what each tool is built for, where it wins, where it falls short, and the questions to ask yourself before deciding.

The Core Difference Before You Read Any Further

These three tools are not really in the same category, even though buyers compare them constantly. Here’s the one-line version of each:

HubSpot Revenue Hub is a connected quote-to-cash system native to HubSpot CRM. It handles quoting, billing, contracts, and payments in one place. It ends at cash collection, not just the signed document.

PandaDoc is a document automation and proposal platform. It creates polished, design-forward proposals and handles e-signature. It ends at the signed document.

DealHub is a CPQ and digital sales room platform with deep product configuration logic. It creates interactive deal rooms, handles complex pricing rules, and integrates with HubSpot or Salesforce. It ends at the accepted quote.

If you’re on HubSpot and trying to decide between them, the real question is: do you want a native revenue system that stays connected all the way through billing and payment, or do you want a best-in-class document tool that bolts on to your CRM?

HubSpot Revenue Hub

What It Is

Revenue Hub is HubSpot’s native CPQ, billing, and payments platform, launched in June 2026 as the evolution of Commerce Hub. Quoting is one of three pillars, alongside billing and payments, all running inside HubSpot CRM without a separate login, integration, or data handoff.

CPQ features include AI-generated quotes via Breeze, quote templates and a single-page editor, tiered pricing, standard and advanced approval workflows, e-signature (25/user/month on Pro, 50 on Enterprise), quote activity tracking, Quote Rules (Enterprise), and the Breeze Closing Agent. Requires Revenue Hub Professional ($95/seat/year) or Enterprise ($140/seat/year).

Where Revenue Hub Wins

Native CRM context. Every quote is built from live deal data, the contact, the company, the products discussed, the deal stage. Reps never leave HubSpot. There’s no export, no re-entry, no tab switching.

AI quote generation. Reps describe what they need in plain language and Breeze drafts the quote using deal context and approved templates. For teams with standardized pricing and recurring deal structures, this meaningfully reduces quote creation time.

The revenue lifecycle doesn’t stop at the signature. When a quote is accepted, a contract record is created automatically. Invoices generate without re-entry. Subscription billing runs on schedule. Payment status flows back into every customer record in real time. CS teams walk into renewal conversations knowing exactly what the customer is paying. None of the alternatives do this natively.

Lower total cost of ownership for HubSpot users. No integration to build or maintain. No second platform to license and log into. No reconciliation between quote data and CRM data.

Consolidation pitch for PandaDoc or DealHub users. If you’re already paying for PandaDoc or DealHub alongside HubSpot, Revenue Hub eliminates that line item while connecting quoting to billing and payments, something neither alternative offers.

Where Revenue Hub Falls Short

Document design depth. Revenue Hub’s quote templates are clean and professional, but they’re not what you’d choose if rich, branded proposal design with embedded video, case study carousels, or heavily customized layouts is a priority. PandaDoc is significantly stronger here.

Product configuration complexity. Revenue Hub handles fixed and tiered pricing well. It does not yet support usage-based pricing, consumption billing, or complex multi-dimensional pricing matrices. If your pricing model is built around usage or metered billing, that’s a meaningful gap today (on the roadmap for H2 2026).

Contract redlining. Revenue Hub creates and tracks contract records, but it does not support collaborative contract negotiation, clause-level redlining, or version control on contract language. If your deals involve back-and-forth legal markup, that still requires an external tool.

Best for: HubSpot users with fixed or seat-based pricing, 20–500 employees, B2B SaaS or services, who want quoting connected to billing and payments in one system.

PandaDoc

What It Is

PandaDoc is a document automation platform built around proposal creation, e-signature, and contract management. It integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, and other CRMs, pulling deal data to populate branded proposals. It’s not a CPQ tool in the traditional sense — it doesn’t enforce pricing rules, manage approvals at the deal desk level, or connect to billing. It’s a document tool that does quotes very well.

Where PandaDoc Wins

Proposal design quality. PandaDoc is the strongest of the three for creating visually impressive, marketing-quality proposals. You can embed videos, case studies, pricing tables, testimonials, and interactive elements. If your sale involves a complex, multi-section proposal that needs to make a strong visual impression, PandaDoc produces the best output.

Contract workflows. PandaDoc has native contract management features including version control, clause libraries, redlining, and signature routing. For teams whose deal process involves significant back-and-forth on contract language, PandaDoc handles this better than Revenue Hub.

Flexibility across CRMs. PandaDoc works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and others. If your team isn’t fully committed to HubSpot as its CRM, PandaDoc is a tool that travels.

Quick setup for simple use cases. If you need professional-looking proposals with e-signature and you’re not doing complex CPQ, PandaDoc is fast to get running.

Where PandaDoc Falls Short

Not a revenue system. PandaDoc ends at the signed document. There’s no native billing, no payment processing, no contracts object connected to your CRM, no renewal intelligence. After signature, everything else requires a separate system and manual handoff.

Integration overhead. PandaDoc integrates with HubSpot, but it isn’t native to it. Data flows between systems on a sync schedule. Quote data and CRM data can drift. When something goes wrong, there’s an integration to troubleshoot.

No pricing rule enforcement. PandaDoc creates pricing tables but doesn’t enforce pricing logic. It won’t catch a rep entering a discount that violates your policy before the proposal goes out.

Best for: Teams where proposal design quality is the primary driver, deals that require contract redlining, or organizations not fully on HubSpot looking for a CRM-agnostic document tool.

DealHub

What It Is

DealHub is a CPQ and digital sales room platform with deep product configuration capabilities. It integrates natively with both HubSpot and Salesforce, and it’s designed for teams with complex product logic, bundles, multi-dimensional pricing, matrix approvals — that need more configurability than a CRM-native CPQ provides. Its digital sales rooms bring the quote, supporting content, and buyer collaboration into a single shared link.

Where DealHub Wins

Configuration depth. DealHub is built for teams with complex product catalogs, bundle logic, and multi-step pricing rules. If your deals involve dependencies between products, guided selling flows, or pricing matrices that require more logic than Revenue Hub currently handles, DealHub has the configurability to match.

Digital deal rooms. DealHub’s Dealroom brings together the quote, case studies, demo recordings, and mutual action plans in a single shared buyer experience. For complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals, this can meaningfully improve buyer engagement.

Strong for the 100–200 employee segment. DealHub wins most frequently with mid-sized companies that have outgrown simple CPQ tools but aren’t ready for Salesforce Revenue Cloud. It’s the strongest option when configuration complexity is real but enterprise-scale isn’t warranted.

Works alongside HubSpot. DealHub integrates well with HubSpot CRM. For teams that need DealHub’s configuration depth and are committed to HubSpot as their CRM, the integration is solid.

Where DealHub Falls Short

Not native to HubSpot. DealHub is a separate platform that integrates with HubSpot. That means a separate login, integration maintenance, potential data sync issues, and two systems to manage.

No billing or payments. Like PandaDoc, DealHub ends at the accepted quote. There’s no billing engine, no payment processing, no contract lifecycle management connected to your CRM. The post-signature revenue process requires a separate system.

Higher implementation complexity and cost. DealHub’s configuration depth comes with corresponding setup complexity. Implementation typically takes longer and requires more specialist involvement than Revenue Hub.

Best for: Companies with complex product bundles, matrix pricing, or guided selling requirements that exceed what Revenue Hub currently handles, particularly in the 100–200 employee range.

The Decision Framework

Choose HubSpot Revenue Hub if:

  • You’re on HubSpot and want quoting native to your CRM
  • Your pricing is fixed, seat-based, or tiered
  • You want billing, contracts, and payments connected to quoting, not stitched together
  • You’re currently quoting in Excel, Word, or basic PandaDoc and want to consolidate
  • You’re a B2B SaaS or services company with 20–500 employees

Choose PandaDoc if:

  • Rich, branded proposal design is a primary requirement
  • Your deals involve contract redlining and iterative legal negotiation
  • You’re not fully committed to HubSpot and need a CRM-agnostic tool
  • Your quoting process is simple and what you need is a fast, professional document

Choose DealHub if:

  • Your product catalog requires complex bundle logic, guided selling, or matrix pricing that Revenue Hub doesn’t yet handle
  • You’re in the 100–200 employee range with real CPQ complexity
  • You’re on HubSpot or Salesforce and need configuration depth beyond either platform’s native CPQ
  • Buyer engagement in a digital deal room format is valuable for your sales motion

A note on using PandaDoc or DealHub alongside Revenue Hub: For some teams, the answer isn’t either/or. Revenue Hub handles quoting, billing, and payments; PandaDoc handles the contract redlining piece when legal negotiation is involved; DealHub handles complex configuration logic when product bundles exceed Revenue Hub’s current scope. Whether that kind of combination is worth the overhead depends on your specific needs, but it’s a legitimate setup for the right company.

Five Questions to Help You Decide

Before choosing, answer these honestly:

1. Are you already on HubSpot? If yes, the case for Revenue Hub is strong on integration alone. Every tool you bolt on to HubSpot creates integration overhead. Revenue Hub eliminates that.

2. What does your current quoting process look like? Excel or Word? PandaDoc but something’s missing? An existing CPQ that’s causing pain? The messier and more manual your current state, the stronger the Revenue Hub consolidation pitch.

3. What’s your pricing model? Fixed fees, seat-based, or tiered pricing? Revenue Hub. Usage-based or consumption billing? You’ll need a different solution or to wait for Revenue Hub’s H2 2026 roadmap update.

4. Does your deal process require contract redlining? If yes and it’s a regular part of every deal, PandaDoc is still the stronger choice for that specific workflow.

5. What happens after the quote is signed? If your answer is “someone manually creates an invoice in QuickBooks” or “our billing team takes it from here,” Revenue Hub’s connected revenue lifecycle is exactly what closes that gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use PandaDoc with HubSpot Revenue Hub at the same time? Yes. Some teams use Revenue Hub for quoting and billing while keeping PandaDoc for contracts that require redlining. Whether the integration overhead is worth it depends on how frequently you need that legal workflow.

Does DealHub replace HubSpot CPQ? DealHub integrates with HubSpot CRM but doesn’t replace it. If you’re on HubSpot and use DealHub, you’re running two separate systems. Revenue Hub is the native alternative, the trade-off is configuration depth for platform simplicity and the connected revenue lifecycle.

Is Revenue Hub right if we’re outgrowing PandaDoc? Often yes, but it depends on why you’re outgrowing PandaDoc. If the problem is that proposals aren’t connected to your CRM, approvals are manual, billing is a separate step, or you’re missing renewal visibility, Revenue Hub solves all of those. If the problem is that you need more proposal design flexibility, that’s a different conversation.

What if we need usage-based pricing? Revenue Hub doesn’t support usage-based or consumption billing today. That’s on the roadmap for later in 2026. If usage-based pricing is central to your model right now, Revenue Hub isn’t the right fit yet.

How Fast Slow Motion Can Help

We’ve implemented all three of these platforms for companies across different industries and growth stages. The right answer depends on your CRM, your pricing model, your deal complexity, and where the friction actually lives in your revenue process.

If you’re on HubSpot and evaluating whether Revenue Hub is the right consolidation play, or whether PandaDoc or DealHub fill a gap that Revenue Hub can’t, we can help you make that call based on your specific situation, not a generic feature comparison.
