What Is Agent Hub? A Complete Guide
Agent Hub (BETA) is HubSpot’s central command center for AI agents. It brings HubSpot’s pre-built agents, any custom agents you build, and agentic workflows into one home inside the CRM, so you can see where AI is active across your customer journey, what it’s producing, and what to turn on next. It’s available on Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Data Hub, and Content Hub Professional or Enterprise, plus Smart CRM, and it runs on HubSpot Credits.
This guide is the starting point for our full Agent Hub series. Below, we’ll walk through what’s actually inside Agent Hub, how it fits with the rest of HubSpot, what it costs, how it compares to Breeze and to other agentic platforms, and where to go next depending on what you’re trying to figure out.
What Does Agent Hub Actually Do?
Before Agent Hub, HubSpot’s AI agents, prospecting, data enrichment, customer support, deal recommendations, lived in scattered corners of the product. Agent Hub unifies them into one navigational home (More > Agents > Agent Hub), organized into three tabs:
- Intro tab, “Your agentic customer journey” — A visual map of the customer journey (attract → engage → delight) showing which agentic features are active, what outcomes they’re producing, and which ones are still dormant and available to switch on.
- Agents tab — Where you create, clone, edit, or delete both HubSpot’s pre-built agents and any custom agents your team builds in the Agent Builder.
- Context tab — The shared “brain” agents pull from: company messaging, tone, brand, and ICPs, plus Knowledge Vaults that store deeper, use-case-specific information (product docs, internal policies, support guidance) agents reference when generating responses.
In short: Agent Hub combines visibility, creation, management, and shared context in a single home, rather than five different AI tools each learning your business from scratch. For the click-by-click mechanics of how this actually works day to day, see How Agent Hub Works.
What Agents Are Inside Agent Hub?
Agent Hub currently includes five agentic capabilities. Each has, or will have, its own deep-dive in this series, linked below.
| Capability | What It Does | Available On |
|---|---|---|
| Data Agent | Enriches and maintains CRM data through Smart Properties, Smart Actions, and Smart Columns | Data Hub, plus most other Hubs (Starter+) |
| Prospecting Agent | Researches target companies and executes personalized outreach sequences | Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Service Hub, Revenue Hub (Starter+) |
| Deal Progression | Analyzes call/meeting transcripts and suggests CRM updates and follow-up actions | Sales Hub, Service Hub (Pro/Ent) |
| Customer Agent | Resolves support conversations using your own content, with confidence-based handoff to a human | Marketing, Sales, Service, Data, Content Hub, Revenue Hub (Pro/Ent) |
| AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) | Tracks how your brand shows up in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity | Marketing Hub Pro/Ent, or standalone HubSpot AEO |

Is Agent Hub the Same as Breeze?
This is one of the most common points of confusion, and it’s worth a direct answer here since HubSpot has used “Breeze” as its broader AI umbrella branding. Short version: Breeze is HubSpot’s overall AI brand, anchored by the free Breeze Assistant, while Agent Hub is the specific home for HubSpot’s autonomous agents and agentic workflows, and it’s the current name for what HubSpot used to call “Breeze Agents.” If you’ve heard both terms and aren’t sure how they relate, our dedicated post, Agent Hub vs. Breeze: What’s the Difference?, walks through the distinction in plain English.
How Does Agent Hub Compare to Other Agentic Platforms?
If you’re evaluating agentic AI options across CRMs, Agent Hub isn’t the only platform in the conversation, Salesforce Agentforce and Microsoft Copilot Studio are the two most common comparisons we hear from clients. We break that comparison down directly, sourced from each vendor’s own documentation, in Agent Hub vs. Salesforce Agentforce vs. Microsoft Copilot Studio. The short version: the more important question usually isn’t which platform, it’s whether your CRM data and process are clean and defined enough for any of them to produce trustworthy output on day one.
How Does Agent Hub Fit With the Rest of HubSpot?
Agent Hub isn’t a bolt-on product, it’s the connective layer across the Hubs a business already owns or is considering. Here’s how it maps by Hub:
| If You Have… | Agent Hub Gives You… |
|---|---|
| Marketing Hub (Pro/Ent) | AEO visibility into how your brand shows up in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, plus AI-generated content ideas from citation gaps |
| Sales Hub (Pro/Ent) | Prospecting Agent for researched outreach; Deal Progression recommendations after every call |
| Service Hub (Pro/Ent) | Customer Agent that resolves support conversations using your own content |
| Data Hub (Pro/Ent) | Data Agent for enrichment, smart properties, and CRM hygiene at scale |
| Content Hub (Pro/Ent) | Shared brand voice and content generation feeding directly into AEO and the Customer Agent |
| Smart CRM (Pro/Ent) | The underlying record structure every agent reads from and writes back to |
The through-line: Agent Hub makes cross-Hub data actually usable by AI, instead of each Hub’s AI living in its own silo.
How Much Does Agent Hub Cost?
Agent Hub itself doesn’t carry a separate price tag, it’s included with qualifying Hub subscriptions listed above. What you pay for is usage, through HubSpot Credits, consumed only when an agent completes a specific action, like resolving a support conversation or drafting outreach to a lead. We’ve pulled the full, current cost breakdown, since it’s otherwise scattered across several individual HubSpot pages, into How Much Does Agent Hub Cost? Understanding HubSpot Credits.
How Do I Get Started in Agent Hub?
At a high level, per HubSpot’s own documentation, getting started looks like this:
- In your HubSpot account, go to More > Agents > Agent Hub.
- On the Intro tab, review the Your agentic customer journey section to see which agentic features are active, dormant, or producing results.
- Click Manage on an active feature to configure it, or Activate on an inactive one to install it.
- Visit the Context tab to set up your company messaging, brand voice, ICPs, and Knowledge Vaults before turning agents loose, since every agent draws from this shared context.

Is Agent Hub Secure, and Will It Replace My Team?
Two of the most common hesitations we hear aren’t about capability, they’re about risk and impact on people:
- What can Agent Hub actually access? By default, agents can read your CRM data and customer conversation data, with file access off by default, all controlled by an admin. We walk through exactly what’s accessible and how to adjust it in Agent Hub Security: What Can It Read?
- Will this replace my team? No. Agent Hub is built to handle repetitive research, data entry, and first-tier resolution, freeing your team for the relationship-building and judgment calls only people can do. We give this question the honest, direct answer it deserves in Will AI Agents Replace My Team?
How Do I Know If Agent Hub Is Working, and Will My Team Actually Use It?
Activating an agent and getting real value from it are two different milestones. Once you’re past setup:
- Measuring results: Track specific, measurable outcomes, resolutions, leads researched, deals updated, tied to what you’re spending in HubSpot Credits. See How Do I Know If Agent Hub Is Working? Measuring ROI
- Getting your team to actually trust it: Technology adoption usually stalls on trust, not capability. See Getting Your Team to Trust AI Agents for how to build that trust deliberately, role by role.
The FSM Perspective: Automation Still Needs a Process First
Agent Hub is the clearest expression yet of HubSpot building a shared nervous system for automation directly into the platform. For a business thinking through our Scalable Business Framework (Process → Automation → Visibility → back to Process), Agent Hub is a strong native fit for the Automation pillar.
But an agent is only as good as the process it’s automating. We don’t position Agent Hub as magic, we position it as leverage on top of a process that’s already been defined. If your CRM data is inconsistent or your sales/service process hasn’t been mapped out, turning on an agent won’t fix that, it’ll just help you make messy decisions faster. That’s why we always start with Process before we recommend turning any agent loose. If that sounds like where you’re at, our post, Do I Need Clean CRM Data Before Using Agent Hub?, is a good next read.
