Agent Hub vs. Breeze: What’s the Difference?
Agent Hub and Breeze aren’t competing products, they’re two different layers of the same HubSpot AI system, and the overlap in naming is real, not imagined. Breeze is HubSpot’s overall AI brand, anchored by the free Breeze Assistant that works alongside you across every Hub. Agent Hub is the dedicated home for HubSpot’s autonomous AI agents, Data Agent, Prospecting Agent, Deal Progression, and Customer Agent, and it’s the current name for what HubSpot used to call “Breeze Agents.”
If you’ve seen both terms on a HubSpot product page, in an email from your rep, or on a call and weren’t sure whether they meant the same thing, this is the exact confusion this post exists to clear up.
Is Agent Hub the Same Thing as Breeze Agents?
Agent Hub is what Breeze Agents became. HubSpot’s own product page confirms it directly: Agent Hub is described as “formerly Breeze Agents,” HubSpot’s home for every agent running your go-to-market.
So if you activated something called “Breeze Agents” in your portal at some point, that same functionality now lives inside Agent Hub, the same pre-built agents, the same Agent Builder, the same underlying tech. The name changed. The agents themselves didn’t disappear or get rebuilt from scratch.
This matters for anyone doing internal training, onboarding a new hire, or writing their own documentation: old screenshots, old help docs, or an old sales deck that says “Breeze Agents” are referring to the exact product you’d find today under More > Agents > Agent Hub.
What’s the Difference Between Breeze Assistant and Agent Hub?
Breeze Assistant and Agent Hub solve different problems, even though they’re both part of HubSpot’s AI stack and connect to each other.
Breeze Assistant is a conversational AI expert built into HubSpot at no extra cost. It answers questions, pulls insights from your CRM records ahead of a meeting, drafts content, and gives role-specific guidance pulled from HubSpot Academy and HubSpot’s knowledge base. Think of it as a knowledgeable coworker who already knows your CRM.
Agent Hub is where autonomous agents live and run on their own, researching accounts, sending outreach, updating deal records, and resolving support tickets, without a person prompting each action. HubSpot’s own documentation describes Agent Hub as the place that brings pre-built agents, custom agents, and agentic workflows into one home inside the CRM.
The two aren’t separate silos, either. Agent Hub’s agents are accessible directly from Breeze Assistant wherever your team is already working, so in practice, Breeze Assistant is often the front door your team uses to reach an Agent Hub agent.
What Happened to Breeze Studio?
Breeze studio was renamed agent builder. HubSpot’s FAQ on Agent Hub explicitly notes that agent builder is “formerly Breeze studio,” the canvas where you build, manage, and customize agents for your business.
Like the Agent Hub rename, this is a naming change layered on top of existing functionality, not a new tool you need to relearn. If your team built a custom assistant in “Breeze studio” previously, that same building experience is what you’ll find in agent builder today.
Where Does “Breeze” Still Show Up in HubSpot Today?
“Breeze” hasn’t gone away, it’s narrowed to specifically mean the assistant layer and the shared AI context underneath it. Today, you’ll still see the Breeze name attached to:
- Breeze Assistant — the free, conversational AI assistant available across HubSpot and on mobile
- AI context and knowledge vaults — the shared “brain” (company messaging, tone, ICPs, and reference documentation) that both Breeze Assistant and Agent Hub’s agents pull from, managed on Agent Hub’s Context tab
What you won’t see anymore, at least not as the primary product name, is “Breeze Agents” as a standalone destination. That functionality now sits under the Agent Hub name.
Does the Rename Change How Agent Hub Works or What It Costs?
No. The rename is cosmetic, not functional. Agent Hub still runs on HubSpot Credits, still includes the same pre-built agents (Data Agent, Prospecting Agent, Deal Progression, Customer Agent), and is still available to HubSpot Professional and Enterprise customers the same way it was under the Breeze Agents name.
If your team already activated an agent under the old naming, there’s nothing to reconfigure. If you’re evaluating Agent Hub for the first time and you come across older content referencing “Breeze Agents,” you can treat it as current information about the same product, just under its previous name.
Why This Naming Confusion Is Worth Taking Seriously (FSM’s Take)
At Fast Slow Motion, we think about every HubSpot rollout through our Scalable Business Framework: Process → Automation → Visibility → back to Process. A rename like this one looks small, but it sits squarely in the Visibility pillar, because you can’t get clear visibility into what’s automating your customer journey if your own team doesn’t agree on what to call the tool that’s doing it.
We’ve seen this play out on real calls: a RevOps lead references “Breeze Agents” in a planning meeting while a newer team member has only ever seen “Agent Hub” in the product, and the conversation stalls out on terminology instead of strategy. That’s a Process gap disguised as a naming gap. Before you scale any AI agent across a team, it’s worth a five-minute alignment check: does everyone on the team know that Agent Hub, Breeze Agents, and agent builder (formerly Breeze studio) all refer to the current state of the same tools? Small misalignments like this compound the same way messy CRM data does, quietly, until they show up as an adoption problem.

Frequently Asked Questions: Agent Hub vs. Breeze
Is Agent Hub replacing Breeze?
No. Agent Hub replaced the specific “Breeze Agents” product name. Breeze itself still exists as HubSpot’s broader AI brand, most visibly through Breeze Assistant.
If I see “Breeze Agents” in an old HubSpot help article or a partner’s content, is that outdated?
The name is outdated, but the information is likely still accurate. “Breeze Agents” and “Agent Hub” refer to the same underlying product; only the name changed.
Does my team need to do anything because of this rename?
No action is required. Existing agents, automations, and configurations carry over automatically under the Agent Hub name.
Is Breeze Assistant part of Agent Hub, or a separate product?
They’re separate but connected. Breeze Assistant is a free, conversational assistant, while Agent Hub houses the autonomous agents. Agent Hub’s agents are reachable directly from within Breeze Assistant.
